Boots Soltan Protect & Moisturise Baby Lotion SPF 50+ is a high-sun protection lotion made especially for babies’ delicate skin. It provides very high protection from UVB (sunburn) rays, and excellent protection against UVA rays (which can cause deeper skin damage and premature aging). It is a broad-spectrum, water-resistant formula, free from colour and fragrance, with the highest UVA star rating given in Soltan’s system. It also includes an antioxidant complex (Vitamin C & E) and offers “long lasting moisture.”

Considerations / Limitations
Even though it is water-resistant, reapplication is necessary after bathing, towel drying, or excessive sweating.
“No fragrance, no colour” is good for sensitive skin, but still check full ingredient list in case of allergies.
Babies should be kept out of strong midday sun, clothing & shade are also important.
Because it is a lotion (versus mineral sunblocks), there may be some chemical UV filters involved — if you prefer purely mineral sunscreens, you may need to verify the filter types. (Indeed, the ingredient list shows both chemical and mineral filters.)

How to use
• Apply liberally 15 minutes before going into the sun
• Reapply when in the sun and then every 1-2 hours and always after bathing or towelling
• Shake well before use
• Avoid contact with fabrics
