Safety Notice: Recall & Discontinuation
Important – This product has been recalled and discontinued.
On January 31, 2025, Gerber initiated a recall and full discontinuation of all batches of the Soothe ‘N’ Chew Teething Sticks – Banana due to a potential choking hazard, after receiving consumer reports, including an emergency room visit.
A follow-up recall notice was issued in April 2025 because some of the recalled products were still being sold in stores and online. Parents and caregivers are urged not to feed the product to infants.
Gerber advises returning any purchased units to the retailer for a full refund. For those with health concerns, contacting a healthcare provider is recommended, and Gerber’s helpline (1-800-4-GERBER) is available 24/7 for support.
